some action..scene..view shots of our trip...in total I took just over 300 pictures so this in a very little glimps into all of the fun amazing things we got to do and see..There was a lot of mud..one day of drizzle rain..a lot of climbing..so many things to look at..and a lot of sore muscles once it was all said and done, but very well worth it..we will deffinetly be going back..hopfuly sooner than later!!

Brad and I went up to Baldwin to ride for the weekend..It was cold..but fun..we needed to get out of town for a few days..it's been a rough week!! Plus we both have been working way too much!!

On Friday March 13th (yes friday the 13th) we went out for my best friends birthday..what a blast!! We started the night with going to Wings Ect. (yes where I work) for dinner...Brad and I decided to play Keno why we waited for our dinner..on the last draw we hit all 4 of our numbers witha 5x kicker..we wond $364.00!!! What a way to start the night!! Then we picked up Kel and went to Wild Bull for a night of laughter, dancing, and a few drinks. It was so nice to get to hang out with my best friend and my man...I don't ever get to do that!!

We went 4 wheeling at our friends house, James and Michalean's, it had rained all day Saturday and was raining the entire ride Sunday..it was so MUDDY...it was a blast..we were covered from head to toe in mud..thank goodness we had rain gear!!

Brad and I went to the PBR this past Saturday..it was a blast!! We seen a few guys get stepped on, and one kicked a good..no one got injured too badly.. a lot of the guys left the ring limping..bull ridding is even better in person that it is on TV!!

Duke got his nose bent the other day when he stayed the night at his grandma's and when he got home he wouldn't come out of his cage..but he looked super cute laying on his bed..

HAPPY NEW YEAR.. We went to Diablo's (a Mexican bar) in our hotel to ring in the new Year.. we went with Brad's brother Brian and his wife Jaclyn. it was a lot of fun.. you could see right out onto the strip. they had a band upstairs on the patio and they had a DJ downstairs.. it was a lot of fun!We went outside for the big New Years Celebration..it was so crazy packed! You could barely even move..we had a good view of the count down on the screen at MGM though!View from our room..not of the strip it's the mountains..but we liked it...Our hotel Monte Carlo ....The Eifel tower at ParisThe venitian..the mural is on the ceiling..they are all over the place In front of Mirage.. another beautiful place..Cesars Palace .. So amazingly beautiful..talking/moving statues..incredably huge!We ate at The Top of The World in the Stradosphere.. you rotate around so you see a view of everything of the strip and around the stip.. it was beautiful and the food was amazing!!MGM .. The lions were so cute .. They were all cuddled together taking a nap .. I could have stayed and watched them all day!New York New York ... It's amazing... there is even a roller coaster at the top... Crazy!!Brad with his niece Lexi at our last breakfast with everyone before heading home...

Well, Christmas is almost here and I have nothing bought yet. I'm sure I will get it done Christmas Eve like last year. I just don't ever know what to buy anyone! I love this picture of Brad - Duke - and I ... All the snow fall does give me high hopes for a good White Christmas, just the way it should be. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! Our Halloween was great, the weather couldn't have been any better! We had a ton of trick-or-treaters...Duke was a little pig. He loved sitting in the window and watch everyone, and then dash to the door to help me hand out the candy! He was shockingly well behaved. He liked to try and eat the pig nose off the costume, but besides that he was great!

October 24Th Brad turned 31!!! We ate at Olive Garden, and Saturday night we ate at Red Lobster with his family. We were lucky enough that his two brothers, sister in law, and niece were able to join us from Utah. On Sunday his parents, brothers, sister in law and niece came over for dinner.... I had this cake made for him it was so good!

SILVER LAKE

This past weekend we went up to Silver Lake, the best riding we have had! The dunes had all of the favorites! Their were large hills to climb, test hill was a triumph to get up, water holes, straight aways for speed, tree limbs to ride over, and breath taking views! On Saturday the dunes were crazy busy, so we went to Lake Michigan, the water was freezing, but it was beautiful to look at! We decided after this weekend we really need to get me my own 4 wheeler, we borrowed our friend Jeff's. They won't let you ride 2 people in the dunes, even though ours is made for 2 people.

I didn't have my camera out yet, but shortly after this Brad tried to go through and the 4 wheeler was up to his feet and sinking nose first!Where to now, I loved the views from the top of all of the hills!Brad loves to run logs/trees over for some reason....Brad going up test hill, test hill is the steepest hill in the dunes, it tests your ride, their are a lot of people who try to get up and roll back down, get stuck, we seen a lot of trucks who thought they could make it and ended up rolling back down the hill ....Sara going to the top of test hill ... this was on about try #10, it's much steeper than it even looks in the pictures!Brad checking out Lake Michigan on the other side of the dunes

BACK TO COLLEGE

As you may or may not know I started back to college this past Monday ... is it going ok ... with my current status of not working (hopefully that will change very soon) I decided this would be a good time for be to go back and finish my criminal justice degree. I will hopefully be working with juveniles as a probation officer, or something along those lines. It will take me about a year and a half to finish. All of my classes are on line, so I have no excuses to not go to class like I use to do. The professor puts the lectures, slide shows, homework, and quizzes on line with the date that they are all due. It's very nice! I will keep everyone posted on how classes are going.

Our Trip to Newberry Michigan

On July 3rd at 6:00 am we left for our 8 hour drive to Newberry Michigan in the U.P. .. we had an amazing time! I think everyone should visit their at least once! We went ridding, went to a bear ranch, went to Grand marais for fire works over Lake Superior, went on hikes, and went to the Tahquamenon Falls .. the only thing we didn't get to do that we wanted to is see a Moose!

After we got to the cabbin we decided to go walk around Oswalds Bear Ranch .. they rescue bear cubs from all over the USA. they are so darn cute! My favorite were the bear cubs .. you will see why when you scorll down ...

I GOT TO HOLD A BEAR CUB!! Brad didn't want too .. he said it's a girl thing :)

We rode On the mornings of July 4th and 5th, on the 4th we stopped at Lake Superior. their were so many flies you would never believe it, but the view was well worth it. We alost found same really cool rocks, we put some in the 4 wheeler to bring home .. the last picture is kind of ugly that's what happends when you try to take a picture when no one else is around to take it for you...

We seen 2 Bald Eagles out on our cannoe around the lake, by the time we were close one had already taken off, I'm just glad we got some pictures of one.

On July 5th we visited the Tahquamenon falls, a must for any visitors in our opinion! The Lower Tahquamenon Falls were so beautiful .. if we were dressed right we would have went in next time though ..

ONE YEAR AT OUR HOME

We have been in our home for one year on June 29th! We have been working hard on the landscaping.. we are taking out the black mulch to put in rock, we need some patio furniture besides bag chairs, and a few more fill in flowers, but we love what we have so far ... most everything have flowers but some bloom later in the year ..

As many of you may know we spoil our dog like he's our kid! We couldn't have asked for a better puppy!! He main be a pain at times, but he is so cute you can't help but love him... he follows me around as I'm cleaning (unless the vacume is on), he's on my heels cooking and doing dishes, he's in Brad's face why he's watching TV and Duke tries to give him kisses, he tries to run 100 mph why we take him for his nightly walk, he loves to cuddle, he's always wanting to go out side to enjoy the sun! He also enjoys his little vacations to his grandparents houses, who we greatly appreciate so we can go away on our little vacations :)

Brad got stuck in a mud hole ... Jeff had to pull him out ... they are on each others 4 wheelers. I on the other hand just chose to run right through a mud hole for the whole mud effect!!! We had a blast .. it was about 75 - 80 degrees the whole ride, it had rained the night before so we had great muddy trails to ride on. We were up north for anyone wondering.
